English Language Development was established in 2009 by Rachel Lee to provide a range of business English communication and language skills training courses designed to help you minimise errors, communicate effectively and increase impact.  Our goal is to help you become better Business English communicators, writers and presenters.

Rachel has worked with Hong Kong professionals from a range of industries including banking and finance, hospitality, tourism and government entities for over fifteen years.  This includes three years for HSBC in Hong Kong as Assistant Manager Business Language Development for Asia Pacific, where she trained business executives in Guangzhou, Hanoi, Hoh Chi Min, Shanghai, Singapore, and Taipei.

 

In addition to her professional business training experience, she is also an Adjunct Lecturer at the Hong Kong University School of Professional and Continuing Education, English Language Teacher at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and an English Examiner for a popular English language test at the British Council in Hong Kong.  

 

As a native English speaker, born, raised and educated in the UK with a Chinese ethnic background, she understands the business communication challenges that second language learners faces every day in the workplace.
